Between 1954 and 1956 he was a member of the central board of Argentine Catholic Action.
A cancer is discovered in his body, he accepts the disease with serenity and starts a long way to fight it, always trying to continue his commitment and the rhythm of work.
August 27th . He dies in Buenos Aires, on the anniversary of his mother’s death.
Procedures are initiated for the opening of the canonization process.
September 19th The UCA held the closing ceremony of the diocesan phase of the cause of canonization, presided by Bishop Mario Poli.
Designated president of the men of ACA.
His health worsens, and he faces his sufferings with integrity and courage. Ha thanks the hundreds of workers who donate blood for their transfusions and say he is happy with “having finally working blood through his veins”.
