Born on February 26. Son of Sara Tornquist and Alejandro Shaw.

Enrique loses his mother when he was 4 yrs. At Sara’s request, all brothers receive religious studies with Padre Goicochea.

Celebrates the First Communion at Basílica del Santísimo Sacramento in 1928.

He found in a flyer about the Social Doctrine of the Church and discovers his mission.

Outstanding student of Colegio de La Salle. At 14 yrs. he decided to enter the Navy School.

He got married to Cecilia Bunge and they’ll be parents of nine children. Family life radiates a welcoming energy and joy.

He founded ACDE (Christian Association of Business Leaders) which is promoted to entry to UNIAPAC movement (International Christian Union of Company Leaders).

Enrique Shaw was the first president of ACDE.

Wrote: "More than ever in current times, and in spite of difficulties, it is the duty of business leaders, as intellectuals and managers, to bring a message and the light of faith to the development of souls, to encourage and support, under the Christian social principles, the search for the solutions to adopt to our ever changing realities”.

He resign the Army to fully dedicate to help workers needs and their formation. The intervention of a priest Mons. Hillerbrand makes his understand that he must dedicate himself to the evangelization of the business class. He worked as Delegate Director and Rigolleau SA. glassworks (Berazategui, Bs. As.) where he continued with his leadership and incessant work for human promotion and the defence of workers rights.
