Enrique Shaw was the Deputy Director in Rigolleau SA glassworks. Among multiple entities in which he worked, he participated in the Catholic Action and the Christian Family Movement. Together with other businessmen, he was a part of the organization of assistance to post-war Europe, promoted in 1946 by the Argentine Episcopate, responding to the call of Pope Pius XII. He aims to create an organization “for the businessmen to be more Christian".

With the incentive of Canon Cardijn he founded the current Christian Association of Business Leaders (ACDE) in 1952 and promote the entry to UNIAPAC (International Christian Union of Company Leaders) through intense evan-gelizing action at the country and Latin America.

He participated in congresses in 1957, gave lectures, edited publications, wrote his diary and some still unpublished manuscripts.

He becomes treasurer of the first Board of Directors in the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina (UCA) and participate in the foundation of the Serra Club.

President of Men of Catholic Action (Hombres de Acción Católica) in 1961; that same year he was a lecturer at the UNIAPAC World Congress in Chile.

His health gets worse in 1962 but he carries on with his leadership and duties.
