Hosting a Live ENLS Course
Are ENLS course materials translated into other languages ?
Currently , the ENLS course is only available in English . The NCS will be releasing translated course materials in various languages over the next three years . Spanish and Japanese translations will be available in 2017 .
What type of continuing education credit is available , and how is it awarded ?
The ENLS course has been designed for a maximum of 15 AMA PRA Category 1Credit ( s ) ™ , ACNN ( nursing ), ACPE ( pharmacy ), and CAPCE ( pre-hospital ) credits upon completion . Official documentation of continuing education credit and two-year ENLS certification is available for download via the ENLS online platform after successful completion of all course exams and a passing score of 70 % or greater . The official accreditation provider of ENLS is Ciné-Med .
We are offering this course as part of a larger conference and already offer continuing education credits for all of our sessions . Can we provide the continuing education credits en lieu of NCS ?
Yes , but for the live portion only . Participants will still have the option to complete the online portion of certification , and that enduring activity will be eligible for additional credit hours through NCS .
How long does ENLS certification last ?
ENLS certification is valid for two years .
How do my participants renew their certification after it expires ?
Individuals may take the ENLS Recertification Course which renews their certification for an additional two years . See page 22 for information on the online ENLS Recertification Course .
If there are participants attending my live course who need to renew their ENLS certifications , can their registrations be included in my total participant number ?
Yes . You can include participants who need their ENLS recertification in your final course numbers . These individuals will count towards the 25 person minimum to receive the reduced group purchase rate .
