Hosting a Live ENLS Course
ENLS live courses offer a robust introduction to each course topic through instructor-led classroom training . Participants who attend a live course experience an interactive environment and have the opportunity to engage with peers and draw on the expertise of faculty to further enhance the learning experience .
How do I select my course faculty ?
The NCS does not require a set number of trainers per live course . On average , live courses are typically conducted by two to five certified ENLS trainers . Faculty can be recruited from previously certified trainers within the organizer ’ s facility , or they may be identified by searching the ENLS trainer roster . The ENLS trainer roster can be viewed on the NCS website at www . neurocriticalcare . org / Education-NCS-OnDemand / ENLS / Trainer-Roster . In order to view results , you must first select a country , then click “ Search .” You may enter other filters as you wish . For more information on becoming a trainer , see page 24 .
How do I submit a request to hold a live ENLS course ?
To begin the process of submitting a live course request , the Host Organizer * first creates an account with NCS and affiliates that account with their organization . ( See page 36 for instructions on creating an account and affiliations ). Next , an application is submitted via the NCS website at www . neurocriticalcare . org / Education-NCS-OnDemand / ENLS / Host-a-Live-Course . Requests are reviewed and responded to within a 2-3 week time period , at which time the Host Organizer will receive an email confirmation for the course and an invoice for the total amount due .
I am hosting a course outside of the United States . What process do I follow to submit my request ?
You will follow the steps listed above in the “ How do I submit a request to hold a live ENLS course ?” section . When you visit the Host a Live Course website link , you will be prompted to choose from two online application forms . You will select the non-U . S . -based form . After you have submitted your form electronically , you will receive an email response from the NCS office within 2-3 weeks detailing next steps .
* The Host Organizer is defined as the person or organization financially responsible for hosting the ENLS training session .
