Rentable Electric Scooters and Bikes Available Around UTA , Downtown Arlington
Looking for a new way to get around town ? A new micromobility program , led by The University of Texas at Arlington , will explore the use of rentable , electric scooters and bicycles on the UTA campus and Downtown .
UTA underwent a competitive selection process and selected Veo to supply and operate the one-year pilot program , which launched on Friday , Oct . 18 , 2024 . Through a smartphone app , residents , visitors and UTA students can book an electric bike or scooter to get to Downtown Arlington ’ s various entertainment , dining , and shopping options or to get around the 420-acre university campus .
