prohibit them from playing in the NBA and being a successful player. A prime example of this is with Nerlens Noel who played college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats. Coming out of high school Nerlens Noel was a widely recruited high school prospect. If he had came straight out of high school and declared for the NBA draft he could have been a top three pick. Instead he attended college and suffered a season ending injury with a torn ACL. After the torn ACl Noel's draft stock dropped and he ended up being selected with the 6th pick. Since the injury Noel still hasn't played a single NBA game in his career. If Noel never went to college we can only imagine how his career would have been.
