BRINGING STATE-OF-THE-ART TO A WHOLE NEW LEVEL

NDSU’s State-of-the-Art Greenhouse and
Research Facility is the newest and most
advanced in the region. The project is a
hybrid of steam heating in the research
ranges and geothermal in the
head-houses.
Project consists of extremely innovative
mechanical design features such as:
• Hybrid Mechanical System combination heating campus steam
and geothermal heat Pumps
• Greenhouse ventilation
• Bio Hazard Level III Clean Rooms
• Energy recovery from growth
chambers
• Variable sash exhaust control on
fume hoods
