Further opportunities
Cyberspace Engineering Officers will normally be responsible for the development, operation and safeguarding of the diverse range of technological systems that are essential for air warfare in an age where information is critical.
Cyberspace Engineering Officers may find themselves posted: to a Signals Unit in support of Operations; within the MOD’ s Cyber Security Operations Centre; in support of Space Operations; or leading a team of technicians supporting the information systems integral to our latest aircraft platforms, such as Typhoon or F-35.
To broaden your role as an officer, you will be encouraged to participate in various station activities, This can be achieved by joining a club or society within the station, or by actively contributing to the development of the Cyberspace Profession. One way to further the profession is by becoming a STEM Ambassador. This role allows you to engage with the community and promote science, technology, engineering, and mathematics( STEM) subjects. By doing so, you can inspire and mentor others, fostering an interest in these fields.
