This two hour class will cover a range of topics, including
virtual home button, the settings button, accessibility
settings, location and privacy settings, organizing your
desktop, managing your storage, backup to Cloud, etc.
Be sure to bring your own iPad!!

Ever wonder how to use Microsoft Excel? Excel 2016
is the standard spreadsheet application by Microsoft
for both the business world and personal use. Our
Excel course will help you learn basic excel functions,
i.e., Copy/Paste, Autofill, Format Cells, Resize
Columns, Freeze Columns, Sort/Find, Headers/
Footers, etc. as well as learn some Tips and Tricks for
Microsoft Excel 2016.

This course will introduce students to courses on-line.
Students will gain familiarity with on-line instruction
and learning, as well as online communication via
Blackboard tools, such as asynchronous discussion
boards, assignment tools and email. Come see what
on-line instruction is all about! It’s a great way to introduce
yourself to all the possibilities on-line courses have
to offer.
Must be enrolled in Credit Diploma program.
WATERCOLOR PAINTING (Monday)

This is an introductory course in watercolor painting
designed to benefit and challenge all students from beginner
to advanced. Students will learn about water-based
media and investigate a variety of techniques and applications.
Emphasis will be placed on composition
and color as students develop paintings from both classroom
still-life arrangements and personal sources. All
required supplies can be purchased from Michaels Arts &
Crafts at 25 Hazard Ave, Enfield, CT. Materials list
is located online.
DRAWING

This drawing course is an introductory level course,
where you will learn the fundamentals of drawing!
Drawing is the most important part of every work of art,
and often where each work of art begins. In this course
you will focus on the development of observational skills
and exploration of drawing techniques, tools and materials.
You will learn technical skills and explore specific
subject matter, such as landscape, portrait, figure, still life,
etc. This is the perfect course for any beginner looking to
improve their skill!
In order for a book to be
reserved for you at the
beginning of the class,
registration and payment
must be received no later
than 2 weeks prior to the
start of the class.
There is No FEE for students from Enfield, Granby, Somers and Suffield enrolled in any diploma program.
