SENSORY EXPERIENCE OF SPACE

In groups we were tasked with mapping a
space within Eldon building. We had to find a
way of recording what the room sounded like,
the colours, how the space felt etc. We used the
body as a way of measuring space and putting it
into perspective. We represented the lines, pattern,
textures and repetition of the space. I looked at
in particular the temperature of the room, how
people move in the space and interact with each
other, and the effect of light and shadow on the
room and how this effects the intimacy of the
users.
