NOC Commissions a Ksh. 10 Million CSR Project
In Taita Taveta County
The corporation has commissioned the construction of staff
houses and an ablution block for Mwakichuchu Secondary
School in Taita Taveta County as part of its corporate social
responsibility program. The project costing 10.5 million shillings
will begin on February and is expected to be complete for
handover by May this year.
The secondary school has a capacity of 320 boarding students
and produced the best boy in Voi sub-county during last year’s
Kenya Secondary School Examination.
The School Principal, Mr. Onesmus Mwalimo Mkura, was very
grateful. “This will assist us immensely since we have been
struggling with accommodating the high number of
students we currently have and I believe this will translate
to good performance.” Said the elated principal.
