one-world government has been proceeding rapidly.
Following are some of the news
reports that document the huge
strides that have been taken towards
world government during 2012:
UN Plans Global Welfare System
Article: UN Wants World Tax to
‘Help the Poor’
Infowars.com – February 3, 2012
The United Nations wants a world
tax imposed on all financial transactions to fund a global model of social
services that will provide ‘needy
people’ with a basic income, free
healthcare, education and housing.
“No one should live below a
certain income level,” stated Milos
Koterec, President of the Economic
and Social Council of the United
Nations. “Everyone should be able to
access at least basic health services,
primary education, housing, water,
sanitation and other essential services.”
The UN is planning two global
taxes to pay for this global welfare
program and to provide the United
Nations with an independent source
of revenue. They want a world tax
imposed on all financial transactions
and cap & trade taxes that would force
businesses and individuals to pay for
exceeding their assigned carbon emissions quota. These two taxes combined
would generate an incredible amount
of revenue, supplying the finances to
enable the UN to become a bona fide
world government.
This represents the UN’s latest
attempt to fleece Western taxpayers
under the utopian rhetoric of global
socialism and to reinvigorate the
pursuit of a one-world government.
According to the report, the new
global tax is designed to be a progressive scale, with higher earners paying
more to help provide “all needy people
with a basic income, healthcare, education and housing.

UNSC Veto on Syria

HAS BEEN

Saturday calling for Syrian President
Bashar Assad to resign, prompting the
US delegate to react with “disgust” that
the permanent council members had
thwarted international action to stop
11 months of violence.
Editor’s note: Though 13 of the 15
members of the security council voted for
the resolution, Russia and China are two
of the five permanent members of the
council that possess veto power over UN
Security Council actions.
Editor’s note: Most UN members
believe the veto power of the five permanent members should be abolished so that
the UN could function as a true world
government of equal states. However,
this change has not yet been accepted by
the world body. Russia has been Syria’s
ally and number one supplier of military
equipment for many years-thus the veto.
CFR Launches ‘Council of Councils’
Article: CFR Convenes “Council of
Councils” Linking Leading Foreign
Policy Institutes From Around
the World
Council on Foreign Relations –
March 12, 2012
The Council on Foreign Relations
(CFR) has launched an international
initiative to connect leading foreign
policy institutes from around the
world in a common conversation on
issues of global governance and multilateral cooperation. The mission of the
Council of Councils is to find common
ground on shared threats, build support for innovative ideas, and inject
remedies into the public debate and
policymaking processes of member
countries. The founding membership
of the Council of Councils includes
leading institutions from 19 countries,
roughly tracking the composition
of the Group of Twenty (G20). The
network will facilitate candid, not-forattribution dialogue and consensus
building among influential opinion
leaders from established and emerging
nations. CFR will convene the inaugural Council of Councils conference on
March 12-13 in Washington, DC.
Participants will tackle four major
themes at this first gathering:
• the overall state of global governance
and multilateral cooperation
• the status of the nuclear nonproliferation regime (with a focus on Iran)
• the dollar’s future as the world’s
reserve currency
• the criteria for humanitarian intervention, in the wake of regime change
in Libya and the ongoing crisis in Syria
The group will also consider longterm structural reforms that would enhance the global governance capacity
of leading international institutions.
CFR President Richard N. Haass said,
“The defining foreign policy challenges
of the twenty-first century are global
in nature. The Council of Councils
draws on the best thinking from
around the world to assess emerging
threats and opportunities and formulate responses to them.”
CFR’s International Institutions
and Global Governance (IIGG)
program aim to identify the institutional requirements for effective
multilateral cooperation in the twentyfirst century.
Editor’s note: Multilateral cooperation is the globalists’ way of saying world
government.
Only World Government Can
Prevent Climate Catastrophe
Article: Effective World Government
Will Be Needed to Stave Off Climate
Catastrophe
Scientific American – March 17, 2012
Human societies must now change
course and steer away from critical
tipping points in the Earth system
that might lead to rapid and irreversible change. This requires fundamental
reorientation and restructuring of
national and international institutions
toward more effective Earth system
governance and planetary stewardship.
