yOUR aPPRENTICESHIP JOURNEY

On Programme

Once you have completed all your On-Programme training, your line manager and training provider will make the decision of when you are ready to complete your End-Point Assessment – this is called Gateway.

A formal meeting is then held with yourself, your line manager and your employer/training provider. This is the opportunity for all involved to review your progress and determine if you are ready to pass onto the End-Point Assessment (EPA) stage. You will not be recommended for EPA until all parties feel that you are ready – no one is set up to fail.

To pass Gateway, you must also have achieved the following:

•                 Train Driver Licence and Certificate

•                 Functional Skills Maths (Level 2)

•                 Functional Skills English (Level 2)

•                 Functional Skills I.C.T (Level 2)
