Employability Points www.kent.ac.uk/ employabilitypoints The University of Kent’s Employability Points Scheme rewards students for their extracurricular activity by offering a variety of opportunities to improve their skill-set and help them stand out from the crowd in the graduate job market. The scheme’s 110 employers offered 410 rewards in 2013-14, which included paidinternships, work experience, project placements, vouchers and bespoke training. Global Skills Award www.kent.ac.uk/graduateschool/ skills/programmes/gsa.html The Global Skills Award programme is open to all taught postgraduate students and is designed to increase your knowledge of global issues, current affairs and develop personal skills which will enhance your employability. The programme is free of charge and will run alongside students’ Master’s Degree. Participants will attend a series of lectures on global issues and workshops designed to increase employability, such as interview skills, CV and cover letter writing, leadership, networking and presentation skills.
