Teenage pregnancy and prejudice
Adolescence is a very important stage in a human’ s life, it carries a lot of issues, one of the hardest is teen pregnancy. This can have a lot causes, most of them because of societies prejudices, that somehow pressure the youth to commit those actions. Classmates, music, movies and the internet are big part of a teenager decision-making system, but it doesn’ t have the best content, and incentives them to have sexual intercourse without being ready, or informed.
Hiding a baby
Society’ s standards are so influential on teenagers, they make her risk her life and her baby’ s while she’ s pregnant. A lot of teenagers fear their parents, teachers, and society itself and hide their pregnancy while doing risky activities like sports. While, it’ s true that there are a lot of sports that are good for the baby, they should be done under guidance and for a determined amount of time. Sadly, a teenager tries to keep an appearance and risks her integrity.
An unexpected blessing:
A child will always be a blessing; hence he should have fulfilled every need to have life with dignity. A young teenager that decides to have a baby, doesn’ t think it through and has complications economically, psychologically and physiologically. These standards are very important at the time the baby comes. Most teenagers aren’ t ready for all the expenses it takes.
One life for other:
Having sexual intercourse has a high risk of pregnancy, hence having a child that is going to become an active part of society. A teenager that gets pregnant is affected psychologically and act the wrong way, and commit harm against her life and the new life she ´ s carrying. That’ s why we shouldn’ t solve a mistake committing another mistake, instead of thinking what the best solution is.
