SERTAP ERENER
Her name is Sertap Erener . She was born on 4 December 1964 and in Istanbul . She is fifty two years old . She is a singer . She has green eyes . Erener has a sensitive structure that met music at an early age . This sensitive and fine girl struggled with colitis that caught her in the 11th . She continued school at the same time . Despite her illness , she managed to be happy somehow .
She began to take her piano lessons with support of her mum so she began the music . She continued her musical education at the Municipal conservatory and in the State Conservatory . After a six year of education , she started her professional music career . She got recognized in elite clubs in Istanbul . She became the vocal of the famous singer Sezen Aksu . Sezen Aksu is one of the biggest supporter and produced her first album . Her first album “ Sakin Ol “ issused in 1992 . I n 1994 “ Lal “ came after “ Sakin Ol “ which managed to became the best selling album with 950 . 000 official registered sales . Lal had a total of 1.500.000 sales . Sertab , who made a duet at Istanbul concert with Jose Carreras , one of the best classical musicians in the world , proved to be a very successful commentator in classical music . Sertab Erener , who released her fourth album " Sertab " in 1999 , has risen to number 1 on music lists . This album , which reached sales of 500,000 in a short period of 3 months from the exit to the market , was awarded platinum record by Sony Music International . Sertab Erener made a duet with Ricky Martin with " Private Emotion -Come to me " and in 2000 she released " Love " with the Greek artist Mando .

I think Sertap Erener is one of the strongest voices of Turkey . I am proud of Eurovision ' s success . I listen to almost all of your songs lovingly .
Sertab Erener and his team competed for Turkey in the 48th Eurovision Song Contest held in Riga , Latvia ' s capital city , winning first place with 167 points with " Every Way That I Can "
