BARIŞ MANÇO
Barış MANÇO was born on 2 January 1943. He is singer, composer, TV program produce, song
writer and actor .His mother is Rikkat UYANIK, his father is is Hakkı MANÇO. He started music
at the Galatasaray High School. After his father`s death, he entered to Şişli Terraki High School at
the 4 May 1959.
After graduating from high school he went to Belgium and he entered to Belgium Royal Academy.
He worked with a group called `Les Mistigris`. Then they
gave many concerts in the France, Belgium, Germany,
Sweden and Czech. At the 1969 Barış MANÇO graduated in
first place from the Belgium Royal Academy.
Manço was very popular with his tunes (there are about 200
tunes); his many album, cinema films and TV programs .He
had 12 gold and 1 platinum album with his tunes. His tunes
were translated many foreign language and became popular.
Manço, father of 2 son from his marriage with Lale Manço,
after many years ago a person asked that to Manço “You think
death is a end or a beginning of the end?” and Manço said that
“Death is wake up from the sleep called life” and in direction with his answer he woke up from the
sleep called life in 31 January 1999.
