This is our city coat of arms . On the red field you can see a lion with golden crown and golden claws holding a fish .
The lion is a symbol of Czech nation and it used to be symbol of our monarchy – the city was founded by one of kings in the 13th century .
The fish represents the fish trade our town was famous for back in the day .
