He then joined Liskeard Athletic, where he became a prolific goalscorer in the Western Football League, before his playing days were ended with a serious leg injury. He turned to management, first with his local Gunnislake Sunday side, then with home town club Callington Town in the East Cornwall Premier League, taking them to promotion into the old South Western Football League. He joined Tavistock AFC as joint manager in 2003, becoming manager two years later. Today he is the longest serving manager with one club in the south west. Another prodigy of the Tavistock Community Football Club set up. Age 18. Ryan ‘Hunzo’ Honey ‘Hunzo’ has two tremendous feet, a fantastic football brain and is a natural goalscorer.
