Godolphin Atlantic was formed in
1980 at the Godolphin Arms pub
in Newquay.
1981/1982 – First team win Duchy
League Cup and
promoted to Duchy
League 2
The club joined Division Three of
the Duchy League and gained
promotion to Division Two in
their second season.
Ten seasons later the club gained
promotion to Division One, finally
reaching the Premier Division at
the end of the 1995-96 season.
1992/1993 – First team win
promotion to Duchy
League Division 1
1995/1996 – First team win
promotion to Duchy
Premier
After finishing as runners-up in
2007-08, they joined Division One
West of the South West Peninsula
League.
They were runners-up in 2010-11
and won the league in 2012-13,
securing promotion to the
Premier Division, where they join
their local rivals Newquay.
