League home win record that

victory against Crediton
United. Striker Lee Johnson
won the golden boot that year,

Elburton Villa can trace it’s roots
back to the 1950’s when the club
played under the name Elburton
Red Triangle in the Plymouth
Combination One East League
with the home ground being
King George V Playing Fields
across the road from Haye Road.
Senior football in the South West
needed a change and in 2007,
Elburton Villa were founder
members of the South West
Peninsula League when the
Devon County League and South
Western League merged.
During season 2012/13 Haye
Road hosted its first ever
floodlight match against
Launceston.
Elburton Villa were formed in 1982
and for the first ten years of life,
played in the Plymouth & District
League. The most successful
season there was in 1990/91 when
they were Division One League
Champions and Cup Finalists.
The club received its first ever
SWPL honour as finalist in the
Throgmorton Cup, being
defeated by Bodmin Town.
