Ellen Lohr hosted a radio show and had her own truck show on German TV. After her career in the DTM, she worked as a commentator for the German TV and as a presenter for the English program of the ETRC (European Truck Racing Championship).
In addition, she was responsible for the marketing activities of the German motorsports association DMV for two years and started an initiative for women in motorsports. She was the head of a Formula Opel team and partnered up with the 1982 Formula 1 world champion Keke Rosberg and his Formula 3 team.
She is an expert for e-mobility and has been the head of marketing and communications for the Venturi Formula E team.
Since 2010, Ellen Lohr has been a share- holder of the 'Monte Carlo Speed Club' and advises medium-sized companies and organisations in questions of marketing and sales.
During the Dakar Rally and the China Rally,
she is working as the official press officer for the German media market.
