We decided to show forth godly character, by repositioning our minds to look at it from a different perspective, remembering that we are Christ representers. We had to look at this as an opportunity to the dialogue started.” “When we began to receive feedback, I could see how God connected us in purpose. Tim said to me, “This is when you show people your character. The persecution, was unreal…the horrible things said to us was unbelievable. However, we used the opportunity to show that opinions are inevitable. It’s in our ability to mutually respect one another, that’s where the love of God is shown. She felt compelled to share with those that she declared earlier to, she in fact walked the road chosen 10 years prior. “It was important to me, that people know I kept my vow.” The couple dated three years before marrying… theirs is definitely a story of success. Amid the media frenzy, the couple sparked something in the hearts of many, whether to reexamine themselves, or their stance regarding purity, the seed was planted. Throughout this journey, two things are very apparent, no matter which view is taken. We must develop the necessary tools (a plan) within the church to deal with sexual intimacy before it ever happens, that shares the benefits of waiting. We understand the consequences for not doing so, pregnancy, heartbreak, anger, depression, the list could go on and on.
