I remember shucking peas in my teenage years. It was one of those activities that delighted me. Of course, I would pop a good amount of peas into my mouth, after all a girl deserves to be rewarded for all her hard work! We had a good size garden, so an abundance of peas were at our disposal. I enjoy peas raw or cooked, in my veggies, in mashed potatoes, in pot pies, soups, or anywhere they enhance flavor and nutrition.
