convenience to short distance commuters and using a bike from
electric bike-sharing
platform only needs you to download a app on your smartphone.
When users need to
walk a short distance, they can use a shared bicycle from bike-sharing
system. The
bike-sharing system that I want to provide is different from other
bike-sharing system
like Citi-bike, it not only offers a way for green commuting but also
offers more
convenience. Up till now, there are many bike-sharing systems and
public bike
systems, the reason why I choose to start a new bike sharing system is
because it has
some advantages that those previous bike-sharing systems don’t have.
Most bike-sharing systems require you return the bike to its
designated station,
but electric bike-sharing system has a breakthrough which is my bikes
are all stationfree and payment process are on mobile-app which is
cashless. Take Citi-bike for
example, Guilherme (2016) studied that in May 2013 Citi-bike
officially offers 6000
bikes through 330 station with a total of more than 11,000 docks. The
provide
capacity is only 6000 bikes but it requires 11.000 docks. In addition to
the purchase and maintenance of the car, only the construction of
docks is a great expense. Besides
