The students were given the complete scenario of the placements during the year 2012-13, the companies visiting, their packages and the profiles offered. They were also given a brief a description about the selection processes of each and every company.
The Mini Projects Challenge
This challenge was exclusively for the second years. The second years were divided into groups and they were given a chance to bring out their creativities and do a mini project. They were given strict deadlines. There were about 12 teams who participated in this challenge and they have come up with 12 exciting projects. They were given a chance to exhibit their mini projects before a panel of judges.
Research mentorship program
This is unique program which brings the students interested in research to a common platform. The objective of this program is to improve the undergraduate research in the department. The final years working on various fields mentor the juniors and helping them in their research work.
