ANNUAL REPORT
The Electrical Engineering Association (EEA) was one of the active associations this year. Working with the motto of “Bridging the gap between the industries and academics”, the electrical engineering association organised many co-curricular and technical activities this academic year. In addition to these the Electrical Engineering Association has a taken up an initiative called as the “NIT WARANGAL – ENERGY AUDIT” to optimise the electrical energy utilisation in our college (a brief description is given below). EEA has also encouraged the students into extra-curricular events as a result of which the Department of Electrical Engineering grabbed the first place the Zero Gravity 2013. It also encouraged students into sports as a result of which the electrical engg students grabbed a lot of medals in the inter NIT competition including the player of the tournament trophies and the best player awards. In addition to this the editorial board of EEA has successfully published the SPARK, the monthly magazine and Electrage, the annual electrical magazine to update the students about the various things happening in and around the department and also updating them with the latest technologies developed in various parts of the world. Inaugural event
The EEA events kick started with an Inaugural event on 6th September. Mr. J V Ramana, Managing Director, Sujana Infra and Power, was the guest of honour. He gave a valuable lecture on the present scenario of the power sector in India. The event was a grand success and was a good motivation to the newly selected association executive committee.
Teachers’ Day Celebrations
