The volcano of Quezaltepeque is located to the west of the city of San Salvador and is a complex massif that includes the peaks: Picacho (1,967 m.s.n.m.) and Wild boar (1.397 m.s.n.m.). The crater is known as "El Boquerón", has a diameter of 1,500 m and is 1,800 m high.
