EIGHT WEEK CLASSES DOWNTOWN MARKET SPRING BREAK IS HERE
Ready for round two? Santa
Ana College is now offering
the second half of GR8 Weeks,
an eight-week session where
you can earn full credit in half
the time.
Classes begin Monday,
April 17 and run through
Sunday, June 11. To find open
classes and sign up, log onto
WebAdvisor.
For more information, con-
tact Admissions and Records
at (714) 564-6005.
—Faith Hernandez From the creative minds of
Orange County, restaurateur
Leonard Chan and his partner
Phillip Kwan, comes McFadden
Public Market, Downtown Santa
Ana’s newest food hall.
The new market is stocked
with four diverse eateries and
two new bars: Mission Control,
an ‘80s-themed arcade bar
with classic pinball and arcade
games, and Under Control, a
craft cocktail bar right under
Mission Control.
McFadden Public Market is
expected to open this month. The semester is halfway over,
and that means Spring Break is
just around the corner.
From April 8 to 16 campus will
be closed, including the library
and computer lab.
Enjoy your time off, but make
sure to take advantage and
catch up on your schoolwork.
Classes resume April 17, just in
time for the start of Spring GR8
Weeks.

Santa Ana College will be
hosting its fifth annual Sustain-

students at SAC, running with-
in a few days before Earth Day.
The afternoon event will fea-
ture a documentary screening
along with a student-led dis-
cussion.
Previous events have fea-
tured high-profile speakers and
organizations, including the
mayor of the city of Santa Ana,
Tesla, Inc. and Capt. Charles
Moore, who discovered the
Great Pacific Garbage Patch in
the Pacific Ocean.
