Little Jr. [email protected] ASSISTANT ADVISER Professor Sarah Bennett [email protected] DOWNTOWN CONCERT UBUILDING RELOCATES CITIZENSHIP FAIR Top Acid is hosting a memorial concert for Nathan Alfaro at The Yost Theater April 3. Alfaro was the 23-year-old stabbed at a downtown Santa Ana nightclub earlier in March. The proceeds will go to Alfaro’s family. Bands set to perform are The Drums, The Growlers, The Garden, The Sloths, Cat Signs, The Hurricanes and Ghali. Doors open at 7 p.m. and general admission is $20. —Rosalia Cato All resources in the current U-Building will relocate to The Village by April 11 due to the demolition of the U-Building. Resources like the student business office, The Spot and the disabled student program and services office will be relocated to different rooms at The Village. The Don Bookstore will move to room 208. The Health Center will be in room 211. The financial aid office will occupy rooms 105 and 106. All programs and services will remain at The Village for about four years while the U-Building is under reconstruction. Business hours will remain the same. —Annie Lam Santa Ana City is hosting a free Citizenship Fair April 9. The city is partnering with OCCORD, the Orange County Labor Federation, the Public Law Center and NALEO. They will be offering assistance on citizenship application N-400, information on DACA, DAPA and much more. The event will take place at Southwest Senior Center located on 2201 W. McFadden Ave. from 9 a.m. to noon. —Joanna Meza BUSINESS MANAGER Eric Lomeli [email protected] Orange County United Way offers students free tax preparation service before the April 18 deadline for returns. Students have the opportunity to file their taxes through MyFreeTaxes.com as part of United Way’s OC Free Tax Prep campaign. The United Way is a nonprofit organization focused on improving the lives of individuals in Orange County. Last tax season, over $14 million in refunds were returned to nearly 17,000 low-to-moderate income taxpayers throughout OC, according to a United Way press release. “Students can use these untapped dollars to pay for books, help with tuition or other needs,” Orange County United Way representative Brenyale Toomer-Byas said. —John Olivares How to contact us El Don encourages the expression of all views.
