WHAT HAPPENED TO GLOBAL WARMING?

Fields of white and falling flakes are a rare sight in Santa Catarina; for it
to happen three times in less than six weeks is nothing short of historic.
Angels and snowball fights at school were things only seen in movies
until December 8th, however it was not experienced by many students
that day as most stayed home thanks to the excused absence. Fast
forward to January 17th, when the ASFM community enjoyed the frosty
landscape, a first in recent memory at the Huasteca campus.
While this isn’t the first time Monterrey and its metropolitan area
receive this weather, it is a rare occurrence. The last recorded snowfall of
this magnitude happened on December 12th, 1997, and 30 years before
that in 1967.
