that I am not capable of this very day. A stereo-like effect of word and music was swirling around.

Our professional sound technician who worked sound in many stadiums all over the country, later told me that this large congregation was not capable of making that much, or that kind of sound. Most of the sound was not coming from the congregation.

Many had their heads extended backward with their faces pointed straight up. It looked like an uncomfortable position to be in for that length of time; they were linked up with Heaven. Many stood in that position until the end of the service. The service ended and approximately 100 people stayed at the altar; many of them doing carpet time. A few people stayed all day.

While most of the congregation welcomed this visitation, some did not. As stated in a previous article, “When God’s Holy Presence comes, some do not want to draw near, because of the vulnerability that sin would be exposed.”

I was asked to step away from the piano if this ever occurred again. Two weeks later it happened again. I stopped playing and stood away from the piano. In the next few months, the length and intensity of this visitation decreased but returned seven more times.

We look back at our time at this church as being one of the most fruitful times in our ministry. In July of 2000, we started the non-profit organization, Community Worship Arts. The seed was started at this church where we organized community Praise Gatherings and plays in which several churches did participate. We had a taste of the Glory. These experiences help us to contend for a deeper revelation of Christ.

We are presently five months away from the last day’s play called THE ANSWER. We are believing that God’s Glory will come down into the Victory Theatre as we present the message for people to find The Answer, by looking for times and places to be in the presence of The King! You can go to the website at theanswertoday.com for more information. Next time I will share a story about some of the 12 songs that are in the production.
