The Holy Spirit's Work

Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me; of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.

— John 16:7-11, NKJV

Introduction

Jesus told the disciples that He must go back to Him that sent Him. Without which the Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost) could not be able to do His work. With the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus a new period of the outpouring of the Holy Ghost appears. The Holy Spirit was the catalyst for the faith of the ten disciples in John 20:22. By the Holy Spirit, Christ can redemptively recreate a Kingdom of people in His own image. The former is a physical body predisposed to carrying out the desires of one's own soul, while the latter is the same physical body but now predisposed to carrying out the desires of the Holy Spirit as a result of divine transformation.1

Christ leaves with His disciples, the Holy Spirit, parakletos, in the Greek form. The Holy Spirit, the Paraclete is the third of the triune; the Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Paraclete is one who is summoned to intercede, or plead the case before a judge. He is a counselor, helper, and comforter. He is the power of God. The Holy Spirit was destined to lead and guide the disciples to deeper levels in the Gospel truth.

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

— John 8:32, NKJV
