Volunteers Needed! Current and Upcoming Events Social Services Careers Panel Discussion: We are looking for 4-6 volunteers to discuss their career paths in the social services field from 8:00 – 8:51 am on April 25 th . WFSB Trip: This trip is designed for students interested in TV productions and news broadcasting careers. Alumni Career Day: Calling and Enfield and Fermi High School graduates! We are gathering volunteers from ANY profession to share their career knowledge and advice with students. This will be on May 23 rd from 8:00 – 10:05 am. JFK Career Day: For this event we are looking for any professional that would like to speak with 8 th graders from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm on May 30th. Mr. Lenn’s Guest Speakers Mr. Lenn is hosting his annual medical careers guest speakers series in room E221 during Eagle Block A and B. 3/22/19 Dr. Courtney Manning – pediatric and prenatal genetic counseling 4/1/19 Dr. Lizzie Baker – pediatrician, rescue volunteer 4/30/19 Dr. Barrett Newsome – oncologist and navy veteran 5/2/19 Dr. Mary-Alice Abbott – head of genetic medicine, geneticist Check out our new TV! Bushnell Job Shadow Trip: Junior Achievement is hosting this event as well to provide students with exposure to the behind-the-show careers in theater.
