Upcoming Events
Resume Writing Workshops
Cat Carter from ACC will present four sessions of
resume writing workshops to students on October 10 th
and 11 th in the auditorium. Several teachers will be
bringing their classes and students can sign up
individually in the Career Center.
Entrepreneurial Challenge Field Trip
This trip is hosted by Junior Achievement and provides
students with an opportunity to learn business skills
and participate in a challenge similar to the show
“Shark Tank”.
ASVAB Testing
The ASVAB test will be taking place on October 16 th
during the PSAT testing. Any seniors that are interested
in a career in the military are eligible to take the ASVAB
test on this date. Please sign up with the Career
Counselors
UMass Amherst Animal Science Trip
Students interested in becoming a Vet or learning what
careers are available with an Animal Science degree
may want to attend this tour of the program at UMass
Amherst. The trip will be from 12-5:00 on November 1 st
so students will need to arrange a ride home from EHS
when we return. Permission slips are due October 18 th
Second Grade Mentoring
Future dates are: 10/25, 4/13, and 5/1
We are still accepting additional meetings. Please see a
Career Counselor a permission slip. All mentors must
check in with the Career Counselors one week prior to
the mentoring date.
