Recent Events
EHS Career Day Career Training Expo
On October 3 rd we hosted 35
volunteers to speak about their
professions with 350 students in
small groups. On October 4 th we hosted our
4 th Career Training Expo where
240 students talked with local
career training programs.
Second Grade Mentoring
Our second grade mentors went
for their first mentoring session
on September 27 th . Eighty-five
high school students participate
in this program and will visit
Henry Barnard, Hazardville
Memorial, and Enfield Street
School three more times this
year.

Phoenix Manufacturing
Phoenix Manufacturing invited
EHS students to tour the
machining shop and learn about
the career opportunities
associated with advanced
manufacturing. We had 14
students attend this trip and we
plan to do another visit in the
spring.
