L E T T E R F R O M T H E A S S I S TA N T G O L F P R O PRO TIP of the MONTH POSTURE Have you ever been told that you are lifting your head or keep your head down? Would you believe me if I told you that your head was not the problem? One of the most common issues is posture! Your posture consists of maintaining your spine angle through impact position. The ability to maintain your posture has a lot to do with flexibility. Personally, I highly recommend anyone that plays golf to start a stretching program. If someone has medical limitations please consult with your doctor to know what your limitations are before starting a stretching program. A person’s ability to maintain posture will dictate the person’s ability to swing the golf club consistently on the same path repeatedly. The golf swing is determined by the body mechanics and posture but this is hard to notice by yourself, if you would like to have your posture checked out, feel free to give me a call to schedule an appointment. Have a wonderful day, Cody Creel Assistant Golf Professional JANUARY eaglebrooke newsletter 9
