Coast Chapter, hosts a black tie Oscar night gala each
year to support Eastern Florida State College Drafting
and Design Technology students. Guests come dressed to the nines to a watch party and themed activities on Oscar night.
Over the past year, Peter has worked tirelessly to raise the minimum $5,000 required to establish a named scholarship. This year,
the funds raised at this special event exceeded the minimum goal of $5,000 and the scholarship will be offered for the first time
for the Fall 2019 semester.
The scholarship will offer $1,000 per academic year to a student enrolled in the Drafting and Design Technology Associate in
Science Degree program, or the Drafting and/or AutoCAD Foundations College Credit Certificate (with Revit Course). The student
must have a minimum 3.2 GPA and be enrolled full time in the program. Admitted students may apply for Fall 19 scholarships via
the online application April 10 through June 12, 2019.
The proceeds from Peter’s future Oscar night galas will be contributed to the EFSC Foundation to sustain this new scholarship.
