provides new faculty members with a one-onone resource person to work with in their field
• Christopian has been a continuous member of the Academic Council since 2014 , and a longtime member of the Curriculum Development Committee
• He has developed 29 new courses during his time at the college , including virtually all courses for the Bachelor Degree Program in Organizational Management , and new courses in other programs as well
• “ Dr . Christopian exemplifies dedication , commitment and working closely with others in everything he does ,” said Dr . Randy Fletcher , Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs and Chief Learning Officer .

STAFF STARS AWARDS

Nine Eastern Florida State College employees were named STARS Award winners for their exemplary performance .
• The employees were cited for their efforts in areas such as curriculum , public safety , student advising and facilities .
• “ These staff members labor behind the scenes and are essential to every aspect of college operation . They are true professionals who bring their talent , ideas and dedication to campus every day , helping make EFSC a leader in higher education in Florida ,” said Dr . Jim Richey .
• The letters in STARS stand for Superlative , Teamwork , Attitude , Responsibility and Service .

• Kristi Busca , an Administrative Support Specialist for Accounting on the Cocoa Campus
• William Busca , a Technician in the Fire Science Program at the Fire Training Center on the Palm Bay Campus
• John Dansby , a Specialist in AC Maintenance on the Palm Bay Campus
• Dr . Catherine Johnston , Director of Curriculum Development on the Melbourne Campus
• Barbara Matthews , an Advanced Training Coordinator at the Public Safety Institute on the Melbourne Campus
• Jackie Pellmann , an Administrative Support Specialist at the Public Safety Institute on the Melbourne Campus
• Janelis Rodriguez , a Student Advisor on the Melbourne Campus
• Emily Tonn , Associate Dean of Student Support and Success Services on the Melbourne Campus
• Katelyn Vollmer , an Administrative Support Specialist for Health Sciences on the Cocoa Campus
