Spring Term Records
The start of the Spring Term saw new records for
Bachelor Degree enrollment five years after EFSC
launched its first four-year track along with new
records for online enrollment. (Student Enrollment,
Diversity Initiatives, Financial Management, Trustee
Relations, Community Awareness)
Highlights:
• Nearly 2,300 students were taking at least one
Bachelor’s Degree course in a three-term period
stretching from 2017 to the start of 2018, the
highest number to date.
• The figure shows the ever-increasing popularity
of the programs and important need they are
meeting for students to advance their education
and careers.
• Students entering the programs including many
transitioning immediately after earning their
EFSC Associate Degree and others already in the
workforce returning to college.
• The top five Bachelor’s tracks with the highest
enrollment were the following:
• Organizational Management in General Business,
Human Resources Management, Sales and
Marketing, Healthcare Management and Applied
Health Sciences Biomedical.
• There were also nearly 7,000 students enrolled in
243 courses offered online, a 12 percent increase
over 2017.
•
There were nearly 1,300 students enrolled in
Bachelor’s Degree online courses, a 25 percent
increase over 2017.
• A record 11 Bachelor’s Degree tracks were offered
completely online, along with an Associate
Degree, four Associate in Science Degree tracks
and 18 College Certificates.

to continually increase digital-only classes and
