strengthen safety, putting more officers on duty each shift and bolstering coordination with local law

• Acquired a government surplus Lear Jet worth $1 million in excellent condition from the General
Services Administration for use in the Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic program at Melbourne

• Marked one year anniversary as Eastern Florida State College with continued strong college-wide and

• Successfully grew the new Center for Teaching Excellence in its first year to include 20 faculty
workshops, significantly increasing student response to faculty surveys, and bringing in outside experts

projects that will better prepare them for our bachelor degree programs and transferring to universities.
