16 form for each student that illustrates how well they did in each part of the lesson along with what they still need to work on and improve (See appendix two). 3.2 Course Description The scope of the units is based on the topics that the six students chose which include new activities revolving around the same topics that were designed to place emphasis on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and intonation, writing as well as listening and can easily and effectively be implemented by any language teacher in class. Moreover, different entertaining activities, exercises and language based games are provided in each unit to assure effective verbal and oral elicitation and production of the language by the students which are; translating riddles from Chinese into English, making a story out of pictures, connecting words and making sentences, unscrambling words to answer a question, completing sentences or describing a picture using given hints…etc. (See appendix four) 3.3 Goals and Student Learning Outcomes The four main goals of the course attempt to improve learners’ process of learning English as a foreign language through distance, improve their confidence, engagement, motivation and collaboration in addition to their communication skills in terms of receptive and productive skills in the target language.
