The Karate competition - Butterflies
The event took place at my Karate club, Ashihara Karate Club. The competition
was going to be in two weeks and we were training for the same. I had three
competitions before now and I got silver for two and gold for one. In my previous
one (that I got a silver in), I was up against a very angry and strong opponent and
I lost against him. But I was pretty sure that I was going to beat him next time.
So today is the day for the competition . And I have already won against two
opponents and I was against him now. My palms were becoming very sweaty and my
stomach had butterflies. It was halfway and it looked like he is winning, but in the
second half, I got a way better comeback. I was having a weird feeling of
excitement and I was feeling a bit scared as well. We had finished the match after
a tough fight. I was just waiting for the judges to exit and then the results came.
I won !!! I win against my strongest opponent and got gold medal. I was so happy.
Now I am waiting for the next match/tournament to beat my biggest opposition
again.
