FROM THE EDITOR
As God ’ s creation , the human race , we have gone for millennia as very relational beings . We would spending time with our family , friends , church , and coworkers . We develop personal relationships by sharing time together , helping each other , talking , and loving each other .
As the last century has unfolded we have gone through the development of film and the big screen , television , computers , and now the smart phone . Each advancement has given us new levels of entertainment , information , and communication , but at the same time has taken away more and more of our time that we formerly spent developing personal relationships and sometimes witnessing . So , are those days of witnessing to someone in person by example or talking to them fading away ?
On the other hand , technology has brought us new and improved ways to swiftly spread God ’ s word around the world . We can also hear and see of suffering in places formerly unknown to us with problems we never knew about . Now , with this technology , we can quickly spring into action .
For many who were shut-ins , they too , can now enjoy more interaction than they ever did before . This may not be the person interaction God created for them to have with one another , but helps them stay connected .
