After 12 years in hiatus, BLACKMAIL has returned and returned with a vengance. See the story below!

After 12 years away from the music scene, east coast rockers BLACKMAIL returned to the rock scene with a vengeance and are now rocking crowds everywhere on the East Coast with a passion that hasn’t been seen from the band since their break-up in 1997. The break-up was a result of many different reasons, one the change in the music scene in the late 90’s which was going from what was referred to as hair bands to more of a grunge type of rock. As the band felt the music scene was leaving them behind they went their separate ways, some to raise families and others to play in various other bands until they once again, after fan requests, decided to try to revive the band that fans had grown to love. So, founding members Rob Welch, Rick Alger, Kevin Levi and Chuck Whipkey are back together and ready to rock, and rock is something these members are doing very well. Fans claim the band has come back and are sounding better than ever. While BLACKMAIL was together in the earlier days they were able to produce two albums, “Hot, Hard and Heavy”, and “Second Album”.
