their life at some point. I would like to have a family in the future and to do so you need love in your life. Not only would I want to love someone and start a family but I would want a job that a love and have compassion for. I wouldn’t want to be stuck my whole life doing a job that I hated. 3. What personal talents do I want to develop? Personal talents I would want to develop and improve on would be communication and understanding, and critical thinking. I would need to develop better communication skills because I tend to talk quickly and sometimes where people don’t know what I’m saying and I also tend to talk too much and give a lot of information at once. Going into a career like nursing you need to develop good communication skills in order to be a successful nurse. You want the patient to understand what you are saying so they know what’s wrong with them and how they can get better. You also as nurse want to develop communication skills so you can say things to a patient in a way that they would understand. I would like to develop better critical thinking skills because as a nurse you need to be on top of things and think of new ways to do things and how to help a patient on the spot you can’t take a long time ti think of how you’re going to help someone. 4. How do I like to spend my leisure time? Right now in high school I spend most of my leisure time at dance and spending time with my friends. Dance has been a big part of my life since I was two years old. It’s always been a way for me to get away from things and express myself. It has taught me a lot, not just how to dance but other things as well about life. It has taught me to never give up and to keep moving forward when you have a bad day. It has taught me to enjoy what you do. The dance teachers I’ve had have been so inspiring and inspirational and are people that I look too. Dance is the reason why I want to be a pediatric nurse because it has allowed me to get the opportunity to teach dance to little girls. It’s a great experience and has shown me that I love to work with kids and help them improve. 5. Are the occupational goals and educational avenues you are considering, be supportive of your life plan? My occupational goals and educational avenues I am considering for myself do support my life plan. Since I know what I want to do when I get older out of college I can figure things out like what school would be best to go to. Knowing that I want to study abroad in college is supportive in my life plan. I want to travel the world when I get the chance to later in my life, I will have the experience of traveling and going to different countries. My life plan would be to become a pediatric nurse and knowing what I want to do I can accomplish that.
