World Environment Day 2012 Activities
On World Environment Day, June 5th 2012, more than 100 dedicated volunteers of VBD visited 15 renowned educational institutes of Dhaka and planted 500 trees with the students. On June 8th, Friday, the volunteers gathered in front of‘ Shangshad Bhaban’ on Manik Mia Avenue for a Cycle Rally entitled‘ Riding Green’. The rally began at 8am in the morning and finished around 12 at noon at Gulshan Ladies Park, covering a distance of 7.85 KM( 4.87 Miles).
