ALTERNATIVE ENERGY SOURCES
Alternative energy sources can be described as energy that actually won’t pollute as
much as fossil fuel, in addition to being less harmful to the environment as well as
humans, lower in cost,and lastly, comes from sources of which we won’t run out of.
Examples of alternative energy are nuclear, solar, wind, and hydroelectric power.
The sun is the biggest alternative energy source because the sun is a necessary
component in the natural processes.
In Lithuania there are 3 most popular alternative energy sources. It is solar
energy, wind energy, hydroelectric energy. Solar energy is produced from the sun
using huge solar panel fields which tracks the sun. Wind engry is produced from the
wind using wind turbines. There are lots of wind turbines in seas and fields.
Hydroelectric energy is produced from water. In the dams water goes through
watermills and they s pin turbinesto produce power.
I think those alternative energy forms are good because they are harmless to
people, nature and won‘t damage the ozone layer. We should use them because
they will never run out, they are cheaper and easier to produce than coal, oil and
gasoline.

Alternative energy encompasses all those things that do not consume fossil
fuel. They are widely available and environment friendly. They cause little or
almost no pollution. There have been several alternative energy projects
running in various countries to reduce our dependence on traditional fossil
fuels. There are many impressive options that you can take into

alternative energy: Solar energy, Wind energy, Geothermal energy,
Hydroelectric energy, Biomass energy, Ocean Energy, Hydrogen Energy.
In Lithuania there are Wind energy, Solar energy, Hydroelectric energy. And I
think it’s really good that renewable energy gets more popular every year.
Firstly it’s much easier to use and make. Secondly renewable energy pollutes
much less. In the third place renewable energy saves a lot of money and
produce much energy.
In my opinion we need to motivate people to use alternative energy sources
and renewable energy if we want to live in clean, bright and good future
without any leaks into ocean or contaminated forest.
