Festa del Renaixement, Tortosa
This world-famous festival marks Tortosa’s
important position during the Renaissance
when it was one of the main cities of the
Kingdom of Aragon. The town is packed with
visitors enjoying medieval cuisine, street
performances, theatre productions and
much more.

Festival Deltebre Dansa
Deltebre turns into an international hub for
the performing arts for two weeks in July.
There are workshops for professional and
amateur dancers plus performances which
are open to the public and cost 5 euros each.

Festes de la Verge del Carme, L’Ampolla
The seaside town of L’Ampolla celebrates its
fishermen with festivities that peak on the
evening of 16 July when there is a procession
of boats followed by fireworks over the sea.
Book a table at a harbourside restaurant,
take a picnic to the beach or find a place to
stand on the seafront to enjoy the spectacle.

Festa Jove, El Perelló
A crazy night of correfocs (firerunning),
foam and dancing – great for teenagers, not
so good for toddlers. Don’t wear your best
